Meet the Cast

Savannah Boyd

Savannah is excited to be a part of this cabaret! Her recent credits include The Match Game (Nora) at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, Freaky Friday (Ellie), and Kiss Me, Kate (Lois Lane/Bianca) at the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts. Love to Mom, Dad, Luke, Elena, Leia, Katie, Penny, and Genevieve. @savannahboyd123

Chloe Call

Chloe Call is a junior at Milford High School. Last year, she was seen as Mrs. White in Clue and Tommy in Matilda. This fall she'll be in Milford's production of Hadestown Jr! She is so excited to be a part of this production!

Lauren Fritzsche

Lauren is 16 years old and a junior in high school. She loves to dance and competes in various different styles. She also has a passion for theatre, and has played many roles such as Kathy in Singin’ in the Rain, Grace Farrell in Annie, and most recently, Spiker in James and the Giant Peach Jr. She thanks everyone for coming and hopes you enjoy the performance!

Gavin Furey

Gavin will be performing the songs, “You’ll Be Back” and “Solla Sollew” in tonight’s performance. Gavin has been in several other musicals including Finding Nemo Jr. as Nemo and his latest performance as the Earthworm in James and the Giant Peach Jr. Gavin wants to thank his Family, Mr. Mike, and Kiya. He hopes you love the performance and enjoys the music!

Dez Hutchens

Dez is thrilled to sing with these amazing performers! He’s an A student at Campbell County, and recently played Nemo in Finding Nemo, Jr., Edmund in Narnia (both with The Children's Theatre), and Fletcher in Freaky Friday at Covedale - as Savannah's brother! Next weekend, he's bringing wizardry to the stage in Sally Cotter and the Censored Stone (Village Players), followed by Matilda with CMT this fall! Dez loves playing clarinet, composing, unsolved mysteries, and Takis, and thanks his spectacular teachers and directors, his family, and all of you!

Ivy Kelch-Weinkam

Ivy is a 7th grader at Williamsburg Middle-High School. She participates in marching band. She loves acting, singing, and dancing. Most recently she was in James and the Giant Peach. Her next show will be Newsies Jr. In her “free time” she likes to hang out with her friends. She’d like to thank everyone for their support and attending the Young Voices Cabaret!

Sam Level

Sam is a seventh grade student from Northern Kentucky. He was most recently seen on stage as Oliver in this summer's production of Oliver! by Merit Theatre Company. He will appear this November in Fun Home with Beechmont Players and is excited to turn thirteen during tech week. Big shout outs to Mike and Kiya, his mom for all the driving, and his dog Libby. Thanks for coming and enjoy the cabaret!

Caitlin Linz

Caitlin is so excited to participate in this cabaret. She will be singing “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid and “Mamma Mia” from Mamma Mia. She has formerly been in musicals through Loveland Stage Company, most recently being Ladahlord in James and The Giant Peach. She would like to thank Mike for giving her this opportunity!

Noah Varland

Noah is 16 and a Junior at Highlands High School. He has been in multiple shows there, such as Sweeney Todd (Tobias Ragg), The Kentucky Cycle (Mackie/Stucky), Damn Yankees (Van Buren), and Puffs (Wayne Hopkins). He was also in CAST’s Mean Girls (Glen Coco/Lion). He is so elated to be here and would like to thank Ms. Keen, Ms. Brauer-Bell, his parents, Rafe Pinkston, and Jake Hagerty, for helping, encouraging, motivating, and inspiring him throughout the entire journey. He hopes you enjoy the cabaret!

Tom Long

Collaborative Pianist

Tom graduated from CCM with Bachelor and Master degrees in Piano, Organ, and Harpsichord. He was director of the Baldwin Music Education Research and Development Center. In this role he interacted with the national community of keyboard teachers. Tom subsequently expanded into marketing, strategic planning and product development. Today, he enjoys his role as organist at Epiphany UMC, and his family of 4 children and 8 grandchildren.

Gloria Murry

Collaborative Pianist

Gloria studied music education at Cincinnati Christian University and Northern Kentucky University. Gloria has played piano and keyboard in over 100 musical productions with theatre companies in ACT-greater Cincinnati area. Gloria’s musical pursuits are in addition to her day job as the Controller at Brands Insurance Agency in West Chester, Ohio. Gloria is retiring from her day job at the end of this year and looks forward to spending much more time enjoying music and musical theater!

Michael Yarick

Director, Producer

Composer for "Edge of Space"

Michael is a multidisciplinary creative based in Cincinnati. He holds an MFA in Theatre Arts with concentrations in Performance & Pedagogy, and a BA in English/Drama. Recent credits include coaching the Kennedy Center’s National winning Irene Ryan’s Acting Scholarship, and the creation of Spectral Sights & Sounds: An Evening of Music & Theatre on the Spectrum.

Kiya Fix

Producer

Kiya is honored to be working with such an immensely talented group for this cabaret! Most recently she appeared onstage as Suzanne in Tri-County Players' production of Dearly Departed and directed LSC’s production of Twelfth Night. She currently serves as the VP of Marketing for Beechmont Players and enjoys cooking and annoying her two cats, Luna and Finn. Many thanks to EUMC, Tom, Gloria, and the cast for making this show possible!
